Oral combination of arginine and ibuprofen may be effective in combating migraine headaches. This therapeutic combination starts to work for many people after half an hour of admission. Of course it is difficult to determine the extent to which pain relief is due to the same arginine, since ibuprofen itself can alleviate migraine headaches. However, it appears that L-arginine improves and speeds up the ibuprofen. The issue, however, requires further investigations.
